EPIC Holiday!. This place is a MUST stay location! I went with friends to celebrate my birthday and I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay! From the time our reservations were confirmed until we left their location, the staff's attention to detail was impeccable. We received such a warm welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout our stay. This was a celebratory trip for our group and the added touches the resort did throughout our stay will remain with me forever.
Our GEM, Ahsan, is an incredible asset to this establishment and our stay would NOT have been as incredible as it was had he not been assigned to assist our party of 6. He is absolutely amazing and very good at his job! He has earned a significant raise and deserves it! If you have him assigned to assist your stay, you will be in for a grand treat. I am forever grateful that he was with us for his trip. Also of honorable mention, Luna (waitress) and Mia (bartender), were also so lovely and accommodating. They really added a personal touch to our stay and it was really heartwarming seeing their beautiful smiles every day. Sofie/Silvy, whom I met on our second to last day of our trip was also very kind, considerate, and attentive to all of our needs.
This is a no brainer location to stay at for your Maldivian holiday experience. We will return!. .

Exceptional. It was an amazing experience. The resort was very nice. The water villa was excellent. But most of all, we need to highly commend Sue, the butler of our villa, who was exceptional. Very professional, very helpful, made my wife and myself feel like home.. .

For sure will not come back . Location is nice food is nice but unpleasant service. 1.No room service after 12 as usual there is late menu in every hotel i don’t know where i will find a bread for my daughter in an island
2.7 am they knocked on door asking when i will leave i and it wasn’t my check out day
3.from 11 until 6 no one cleaned my room i put clean room button on !
4.last day they cleaned my room but my minibar was not refilled my daughter asked for cola because mini bar wasn’t refilled the guy on front desk answered: call back at 11 pm :)
5.someone entered my room i came with cigarettes smell
6.they were nice on welcome but no one bothered to say how was your stay on check out only they took my signature on the room bell and left !. .

This hotel doesn’t worth it’s money. 1. Close to airport, approximately 15 mins by speed boat
2. Pretty new. 1. You’ll wait for any ride for 30-40 mins. So you’ll use a bike unless it’s a rain. Then you’ll wait 30-40 mins each way. At morning you’ll call guest service for 15-20 mins
2. Nothing is free at this resort, not even cola in mini bar. Third time on Maldives and first time we paid for everything everywhere
3. 2 previous hotels were much better for less money. We wanted an upgrade and got downgrade
4. Don’t count on early check in if your flight is at morning, you’ll wait for exactly 15:00 as it is on booking. No drinks will be offered. Well, they don’t have to, but aren’t we looking for service?.

Couple celebrating a special birthday. The So Resort was amazing and Ahsan our GEM did a wonderful job of looking after us.
The food was outstanding at every meal. The overwater rooms are sensational with views of the water amazing. The colours of the water are just beautiful and at any time you are likely to see fish. Stingrays and even the odd reef shark.. .

My stay was comfortable and enjoyable, with everything I needed for a relaxing and pleasant experience. I really love the spacious design of the water villa, especially how natural light flows through the large windows and the welcoming atmosphere. It is also perfect for outdoor activities or relaxing. In addition, the location is ideal, being close to the airport.. .
