Exceptional. Chaalu Mathiveri is a great place on an exceptional island. I stayed for one lovely month and everything about this place was super. The room is clean and well-equipped - comfy bed, A/C and wifi work great, plenty of hot water for showers. Laundry service is fast and inexpensive. Breakfasts are decent with a mix of protein and fresh fruits - sometimes continental and sometimes traditional Maldivian breakfast. I love the location near the harbor and bikini beach. The best part of my stay were the people - particularly the manager, Imma, who genuinely cares about making sure the guests have a happy experience by arranging fun and interesting adventure trips. I cannot recommend this guesthouse highly enough. Stay here - you'll be so glad that you did.. .

Great location and fantastic host. The location was perfect, just a few steps away from Bikini Beach, making it very convenient for enjoying the sea and relaxing. The host, Imma, was always very helpful, ready to provide excellent tips and organize excursions. The grilled fish dinner cooked by Imma was delicious and definitely one of the highlights of my stay. The bathroom could have been better maintained. It appeared a bit neglected, and occasionally there was an unpleasant smell. Improving this aspect would greatly enhance the overall comfort of the stay.. .

Exceptional. Our stay in Mathiveri was an unforgettable experience, made even more special by the incredible hospitality we received. A huge and heartfelt thank you to Imad, who truly made our time on the island so much richer. From the very beginning, Imad welcomed us with open arms, sharing not just his time but also his knowledge and passion for Maldivian culture. Whether it was exchanging stories about life in the Maldives, talking about football , or just enjoying good conversations, every moment felt meaningful. His kindness and genuine interest in making our stay memorable really touched us. He also took great care of all the logistics, arranging our excursions and speedboat transfers smoothly, which made everything so easy for us. And let’s not forget the excellent breakfasts—every morning started with delicious food that made us feel right at home! See u soon !!!. Nothing.

I hope I will go there again.. Thank you for your hospitality and warm welcome, we really appreciate the time spent at your guesthouse. We spent a week Chaalu Mathiveri Inn , from the very beginning we felt we were taken care of, we had the transfer from Male to Mathiveri organised, we got the room which we had booked, it was clean and looked like the one in the photo. The meals were very tasty, we had breakfast prepared on the spot and dinner (taken from the restaurant). The guesthouse is close to the bikini beach. The nearby sandbank and picnic island are the assets as you can get there yourself without paying for a trip. We recommend the guesthouse, the manager is very helpful, he spent a lot of time with us checking the best transport to other islands.. Nothing to complain about..
