Well positioned and comfortable.. The previous reviews are all quite old, we were a little dismayed when our tour booked us here before our week long trip, but I have to say we needn't have worried. There has obviously been a good amount of renovation, the rooms all look newly painted, there were new sockets, albeit English, which is good for us, and many of the rooms seem to have new AC units. We were very happy with our stay and booked a day room for when our trip returned before our midnight flight. We were greeted like old friends and are very comfortable relaxing and using the WiFi to write our blog as we have had no WiFi for a week and it's working well. Our trip was fully catered so we had no meals here so I can make no comment on breakfast. The location by the airport ferry is unbeatable and we would have no hesitation about recommending the Mookai or returning.. .

Exceptional. We were given an apartment with 2 rooms, ideal for a family with the perfect sea view. The facilities were quiet worthy the price. The staff were very welcoming and accommodates all the requests. Special thanks to the one who did our check in and the HK guys who helped us find a taxi for our airport transfer. Highly recommended. .

Good for transit stays… but not recommended for long term stays. There’s only one power outlet in our room. So i have to remove the tv and frdge plug just to charge my other devices. There’s a common area where you can use the dining table and sofa. Internet is not stable. It’s very slow and some times it’s not working. The toilet is very smelly. Room is very old. It doesn’t look like a hotel. This needs a major renovation. Our booking have a free airport transfer. Funny tho, upon check out I was expecting for a “car” for the airport transfer but only to find out that the so-called “airport transfer” is via PUBLIC FERRY. If only I knew I would’ve took a cab to go to the airport. On the brighter side, location is perfect. Near the jetty, and bus stops.. .
