Never Ever Book Excursion with TRITON!!!. Never Ever Book Excursion with TRITON!!! On 23/05/2025, I went on an excursion to Shark Point. While on the boat, I was given a broken mask that was leaking. I immediately informed the guides, but they told me there were no spare masks available. The excursion was a failure—I couldn’t properly swim with the sharks or record a video. It was a wasted day. But my troubles with Triton didn’t end there. They lost all the underwater videos and pictures—they actually lost the camera and just said “Sorry.” Naturally, there's no point expecting any compensation from them. They also gave me a defective life jacket, so I couldn't swim properly during the excursion. I also purchased an additional drone video and pictures package for $15. In the end, they just took the money and sent a short video of less than a minute. Basically, they don’t care—just looking to squeeze money out of people. Also, don’t book rooms with them. Based on reviews, their rooms have lots of cockroaches, and there’s construction going on right across from them. There are many alternative hotels that are cheaper and better, such as Arena, Kaani, Kuredhi Beach Inn (with spacious rooms), and Rosemary. I wanted to speak with the hotel manager to share my feedback about the excursion. At the reception, I was met by Tharindu Barnes. He said he would call the manager. Later, he returned and said the manager would contact me within an hour, but no one ever reached out. This just shows their indifference toward guests—just trying to take your money, with no respect or service.. .

Bad service. Tried to reach them on Whatsapp and they totally ignored my messages after a few chat (might just because I’m solo traveler that not benefit them much) and I can tell that they saw my messages. Very rude and bad service. I’m glad I didn’t take the tour from them!. .

Very nice experience. We where a coule and went for short trip manta ray spotting. It was very nice, the guide made alot of videos and after seing the mantas rays even stopped for a ship wreck snorkeling. The price was decent ans theu offered us equipment, water and towela. Higly recommend them.. .

Triton Tourst - best company in Maafushi. I want to share about an exciting and amazing trip with the Triton Tours Maafushi team. It was a half day trip to two coral reefs and lunch on an uninhabited island. What can I say, I chose the best company in Maafushi with a professional team. We were very lucky and met 7 turtles, 3 sharks, many beautiful colorful fish and huge schools of dolphins, who did not leave us until our boat return to the island. I want to express my deep gratitude to the whole friendly and cheerful team - captain Batte, Sheggy, Rebit, Vikash and special thanks to my ‘Paparazzi’ Abichi, who took me a million unforgettable photos and videos. Thank you very much for the great impressions, emotions and happy moments.. .

Great staff and accommodation highly recommended, we had the best weekend ever!. Had the best time here! Hotel staff were really helpful and friendly, gave us a great deal and helped us to organise our weekend so everything ran really smoothly. Bedroom was big and comfortable. Food was amazing! Personal favourite was the sweet and sour chicken. .

Cockroaches and dated hotel. Stayed in this hotel for 4 nights and it was pretty disappointing…. As soon as we got to the room the sink was leaking, the safe was not working and the hotel is very worn down… it needs a serious paint job and furniture upgrade. Went to the reception and they sent someone to “fix” the sink… after waiting g for a while and calling they finally sent a person to fix the safe but we wasted like an hour to fix the sink and operate de safe box! That night it was hard to sleep as the bed was a hard as a rock and when I went to the bathroom in the middle of the night there were Cockroaches…. The next morning I talked to them as the sink was leaking again, and to complain about the Cockroaches and to see if they could change our room! They said they would fix the sink again, deep clean and put a thick comforter to make the bed softer. They cleaned but the following night we found more Cockroaches, even more than before…. The curtains are filthy like they have never washed them as well as the bed cushions, the walls need a couple of layers of paint, the hotel is surrounded but many construction site so it’s quite noise and this is the view you get from the pool view room, so save your money! The only good thing about this hotel is that it’s very close to the bikini beach and they can provide beach beds and also the tour we took with them was ok as the people were nice, it was advertised as a 9am-2pm tour but it actually ended at 1pm. If I ever return to the Maldives I will not stay at this hotel as I really dislike cockroaches. .

Nice beach hotel. Very nice warm hotel everything was perfect the resturant.. the house keeping i want to thank them for their welcome smile The man who always get us the the sun bed thank you ..Jack made our accommodation nice and smooth ..Joy in the reception I thank her a lot . .

Met expectations .. Stayed one night at this hotel and was satisfied with the service . The rooms were large but matress ,towels need replacing. We went on the Shark Bay expedition and was totally amazed . The crew must be recommended for their enthusiasm and customer service.. .
